KUCHING: Touch ‘n Go Group yesterday (June 8) announced that it has crossed the one million users mark in over two months.

“We are pleased that we’ve been able to get to this milestone in just over two months and well ahead of our internal estimates,” said Touch ‘n Go Group group chief executive officer Effendy Shahul Hamid.

“We will now build on this success and add more varied products in this category. We will also be making improvements to GO+ on the back of some very encouraging customer driven feedback and data on user experience,” he said.

“Many of our users found the fungibility function between the GO+ balance and Touch ‘n Go eWallet use cases very attractive,” added Efendy in a statement yesterday (June 8).

Touch ‘n Go launched GO+ on March 29, 2021, as its first foray into digital banking services and is a financial inclusion investment programme that gives Touch ‘n Go eWallet users and all Malaysians access to low-risk money market investments for as little as RM10.

Touch ‘n Go also introduced the +Kawan campaign which allows referrers to reap the benefits from referring their friends/families to onboard to GO+.

Furthermore, referees who register the reference code will be eligible to win a Sony Play Station 5 for themselves as well as the referrer.
