DALAT: A proposed one-stop service centre Dalat (OSSCD) for repairing vehicles and outboard engines will be implemented here next year.

Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan assured that it would be included in the coming 12th Malaysia Plan (12MP).

“The proposal would be given priority, too, under the 12MP,” he said when officiating at the opening of the Taman Solidariti Dalat here on Saturday (Dec 12).

Awang Tengah, who is also Urban Development and Natural Resources Minister, was responding to three requests voiced out by Welfare, Community Wellbeing, Women, Family and Childhood Development Minister Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah in her opening speech at the event.

Fatimah’s second request was related to a land application for the setting up of a Sarawak Sago Industry Development Board complex here.

Awang Tengah said he has to discuss with the Land and Survey Department as well as Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas on the matter first.

For the Dalat assemblywoman’s third request, which is to seek for additional funds for the newly completed BazarNita Fatima building here, Awang Tengah approved RM150,000 to help finance the cost of fixing floor tiles and the purchase of basins, signboards and cabinets.
