BAU: Police here arrested two women for engaging in online gaming activities around Tondong, Jalan Bau-Lundu today.
The ‘Op Dadu’ arrests by the district Criminal Investigation Division (CID), were carried out at a convenience store and around Tondong town from 1.30pm to 4.15pm.
Bau police chief DSP Poge Nyaon in a statement, said the suspects aged 18 and 19, were detained on suspicion of engaging in online gambling sales activities.
“Also seized from them were two phones, two SIM cards and a sum of cash,” he said.
Investigations are continuing.
