MIRI: A total of 50 orphans and 20 underprivileged families received food baskets from the Persatuan Kebajikan Prihatin Miri.

The simple presentations were held on Saturday evening at Masjid At-Taqwa Miri.

The distributions were carried out via the association’s ‘Wow Sumbangsih Syawal’ programme, collaborating with the Persatuan Kebajikan Anak Yatim Miri (PERKAYA) and Lions Clun Miri Mandarin.

Also present were political secretary to the Premier of Sarawak, Sarkawi Suhaili and Prihatin’s vice-president Fitrina Raji.
