KUCHING: Welfare, Community Wellbeing, Women, Family and Childhood Development (KWKPK) Minister Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah received a courtesy call from outgoing Sarawak National Population and Family Development Board (LPPKN) director Dennis Cheng Ho yesterday.

Cheng will leave on August 3 to serve as LPPKN Kedah director.

Fatimah thanked Cheng for his services throughout his time in Sarawak and the good relationship developed between LPPKN as a Federal government agency and her ministry.

“We wish you success in your future endeavours. Thank you also to all Sarawak LPPKN staff for your services to all families and the communities,” she said.

Fatimah noted that many joint programmes were held by LPPKN together with the ministry through Cheng’s service with the board.

Cheng assumed the position as director of LPPKN Sarawak in June 6, 2018.

He had also served as the director of LPPKN Melaka and served at the LPPKN Kuala Lumpur headquarters.

Also present were Assistant Minister of Women, Family and Childhood Development Rosey Yunus, and ministry permanent secretary Dr Saadiah Abdul Samat.
