SRI AMAN: More than 100 residents in the Melugu Scheme here attended a ‘Ngiling Tikai’ (end of Gawai celebration) gathering organised by Komuniti Raban Kenyalang Bukit Kelingkang of Melugu Scheme at Rumah Joseph, Lot B, 1170-2, Jalan Gereja Saint John here, recently.
Chairman of the movement, Tuai Rumah Kichin anak Rumpang in his speech pointed out that after the gathering, residents in the scheme can return to their daily activities and plan for the future.
He also urged the residents to unite and work together for the betterment of the whole community.
“I hope we can all bury our differences and work together as a team for the benefit of all of us,” he said.
