KUCHING: The Wawasan Women Entrepreneurs Sarawak Association (Saranita) must work together to ensure that the association remains relevant.

According to Assistant Minister for Entrepreneur Development, Datuk Mohd Naroden Majais, the association’s progress and success depend a lot on the members to communicate and understand each other.

“It is not just about the formation of the association and annual general meetings but the mutual understanding and agreement among its members are important to ensure Saranita can become a platform which can benefit all its members and at the same time unite them,” said Naroden when officiating at Saranita 3rd annual general meeting (AGM) at 56 Hotel, Jalan Tun Jugah here, yesterday which was attended by more than 50 members. His text speech was read by Chief Assistant Secretary to the Ministry of Industrial and Entrepreneur Development, Trade and Investment (MIETI), Norjanah Razali.

Naroden added that Saranita also should continue to be active in their participation in various programmes organised in order to expose its members to business opportunities. He said all the programmes that have been participated in the past six years of Saranita formation have exposed the members to the entrepreneurship opportunities.
