MARUDI: The Marudi Civic Centre vaccination centre (PPV) has inoculated over 8,500 people as of Sunday (June 20), said Marudi assemblyman Datuk Dr Penguang Manggil.

At the same time, he also conveyed his appreciation to those involved in the vaccination process.

“I thank all the staff who have worked hard in making the immunisation programme at Marudi Civic Centre a success,” he said in a Facebook post after paying a visit to the PPV on Sunday (June 20).

On Saturday (June 19), Penguang said the vaccination programme in Beluru district received a very encouraging response from the community.

He said the Beluru Community Hall PPV has vaccinated 4,200 people since it began operations on June 11.

“Congratulations to the people who have given their cooperation in making the vaccination programme a success,” said Penguang.
