Palm oil tanker truck comes to grief

SRI AMAN: A tanker truck driver sustained injuries when his vehicle crashed into some concrete roadside markers at KM65, Sri Aman-Sarikei Road yesterday morning (July 14).

Sarawak Traffic Investigation and Enforcement chief, Supt Alexson Naga Chabu, said the accident occurred around 5.30am.

The truck transporting palm oil from Bintulu was on its way to Kuching when it went out of control and crashed into the left side of the road.

The 54-year-old driver was sent to Betong Hospital.
