KUCHING: The number of graduates in the Pantai Damai constituency has increased significantly over the years, said its assemblyman Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi.

He pointed out that the increase was a result of the ‘Satu Keluarga, Satu Graduan’ (One Family One Graduate) culture that has been nurtured over the last 23 years.

“Keep up this culture as we want to produce more graduates.

“To students entering institutions of higher learning (IPTs), I advise all of you to be physically, mentally and emotionally prepared for the many challenges you will face in university.

“Focus on the lessons and most importantly, avoid being swayed by negative influences that could ruin your bright future,” he said at an educational assistance presentation ceremony here yesterday.

At the event, 24 students who will be furthering their studies in IPTs received assistance from Dr Abdul Rahman who is also Assistant Minister of Utility (Water Supply).
