Parked car suddenly catches fire

LIMBANG: A Perodua Kancil car suddenly caught fire while parked at the road shoulder of a junction near the owner’s house at Lorong 4, RPR Batu Biah here early Monday morning (Sept 6).

The incident stunned the car owner, who later on called the Limbang fire station for help.

The fire station despatched a fire engine and a team of firemen to the scene after it was informed of the fire at 4am. Within 20 minutes, the fire was extinguished.

However, the actual cause of the incident is not immediately known as investigations are underway.
