KUCHING: Sarawak Parti Islam Se Malaysia (PAS) Youth Council (DPPNS) welcomed Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg for the announcement of a RM500 financial assistance in June 2020 to federal civil servants totalling about 94,971 with an allocation of RM47.5 million.

DPPNS perceives this bonus as a tribute and thanked the state government as well as the federal civil servants who have worked together to promote economic growth and wellbeing of the people.

The state government, led by GPS, has proven a strong spirit of federalism. Political maturity in administration has succeeded in making Sarawak to be emulated by other states.

PAS Sarawak youth chief Hamdan Sani said that although the state has denied some rights and bureaucracy by the Pakatan Harapan (PH) government in terms of development, education and economic sustainability ― this does not prevent Sarawak from continuing to help and appreciate the services of federal civil servants here.

“Sarawak PAS Youth is under Budaya Politik Matang dan Sejahtera (Peaceful and Mature Political Culture) BPMS, as its purpose is to assist the state government in ensuring good policies to be achieved so the desire to see the prosperity of the people of Sarawak shall be highlighted,” he said.
