Touching on the Sibu Indoor Stadium which would be used as an additional quarantine centre, Dr Annuar said the installation of the tents had already been completed.

“The setting up of the National Disaster Management Agency special tents was completed this morning by members of Malaysian Civil Defence Force,” he said.

The Nangka assemblyman added the quarantine centre had not been used yet.

“This is to prepare for the need of an additional quarantine centre. However, we will do our best not to use this stadium if it is not necessary,” said Dr Annuar.
