Reactions To Lim Guan Eng’s Demand For RM350 Mln Advance

“It is a bad joke. Ask him to return our oil and gas money,” said STAR president Lina Soo.
She reminded the federal government to start paying what the Pakatan Harapan government had promised in their election manifesto – that is payment of 20 per cent oil royalty and 50 per cent of all tax revenue to Sarawak.

“The payment of our five per cent sales tax on petroleum products as well,” she said.

When asked which company had not paid the state government, Soo claimed that Petronas was the only one which had not paid a sen.

“However, we must thank Shell and all others who have already paid,” she stressed.
