KUCHING: The due date for payment of the first half of the Kuching City South Council (MBKS) assessment bill has been extended from May 31 to October 31, 2020.
MBKS, in a statement, said no surcharge would be levied for payment made after May 31 for the first half of the bill.
It said additional charge for the first half of 2020 would only be levied after October 31, 2020.
The council advised rate payers to make payments for 2020 bills in June for computer-generated receipts.
Payments of 2020 bills in May at the MBKS payment counters would be issued with manual receipts.
MBKS added that payment for 2019 bills would still be accepted and could be issued with computer-generated receipts.
