MUKAH: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Balingian branch presented donations to fire victims in Kampung Penakub Ulu here on Sunday.
Branch members visited the victims to hand over the donation to them in a simple ceremony near the site of the burnt house.
They were representing Balingian assemblyman Abdul Yakub Arbi.
PBB Balingian branch secretary Raymund Tanin, Dalat and Mukah District Council councillor Aimie Kaliew, community leader Jefri Musa and Kapitan Kueh Bing Chuan also attended the event.
The fire, which occurred at 9.15am, completely destroyed the wooden house but there were no fatalities.
