KUCHING: The Tanjung Datu Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) branch is relishing the challenge of facing the upcoming state election in the new norm.

Tanjung Datu assemblywoman Datuk Amar Jamilah Anu called on all members of the branch, including the Women and Youth wings to work together to face the 12th State Election.
“We have done it from the very beginning until now to fight for our sacred party.

“For the 12th Sarawak State Election we accept the challenge of new norm so that the party can be inherited by our future generations,” she said today during a meeting with branch members in Lundu.

Jamilah said the Youth wing this time needs to be given a role in preparing for the election.

“This is so that they can learn from others on how to face the polls as they will be replacing us in the future,” she said.

Jamilah said the political scenario this time will be different from the previous state elections.

“But with the technology and development delivered by the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) government, hopefully all this will be easier with the involvement of the younger generation,” she said.

Also present were PBB Tanjung Datu deputy head Abu Seman Karim, vice head Benjamin Gersit Jais and branch secretary Abdul Razak Abdul Wahab.

Joining them were PBB Tanjung Datu Women chief Fatimah Abdullah and Youth chief Azizul Annuar Adenan.
