KUCHING: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Satok Youth Wing on Sunday launched its ‘Beca Kenyalang Satok’ (a trishaw) to mark its preparation for the coming state election.
Senior Minister (Works) Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof who is also Petra Jaya MP and PBB senior vice president, officiated at the event.
During the function, PBB youth members slaughtered a cow in conjunction with ‘Program Ibadah Korban Aidiladha’ held at Jalan Abang Ateh here.
Satok PBB Youth chief Dzamaluddin Zainudin said the programme was a simple gathering with the Petrajaya MP who was visiting several other locations in the latter’s parliamentary constituency for similar events.
“The programme was held in line with the standard operating procedure (SOP) set by the government to curb the spread of Covid-19.
“Only 20 members were involved in the slaughtering process, etc. The meat packages were distributed among the members,” he told reporters at the event.
Also present at the event were PBB Satok deputy chairman Datuk Ibrahim Baki, secretary Abdul Samat Gany and vice chief Hilmy Othman.
