Its chief Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah (pic) said that party members are in election mode and the mood in the air signifies that.

“We recognise the fact that this is a very important election for us (Sarawakians).

“Therefore, we need strong support from the people so that we can continue the agenda to fight for state rights as our motto — ‘Sarawak First’,” she said.

She said this in a statement released yesterday after chairing the PBB Women supreme council meeting at PBB headquarters, Jalan Bako here.

Among the topics discussed during the meeting were various strategies as well as arising issues.

Besides that, discussions were conducted on the upcoming implementation of peoplecentric programmes as part of the upcoming state polls.

“My message to all PBB Women leaders is to be in election mode with the spirit of Sarawak First’. “Strategies, programmes, and activities must be geared towards helping GPS win.

“Winning, for us, is to fight for Sarawak’s rights and also for the wellbeing of its people,” she said.

As of August 31, 2019, PBB Women amassed a total of 160,801 members.
