KUCHING: Barisan Nasional’s proposal for a new Malaysia Agreement will lead to the annulment of the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63).
“People of Sarawak need to be on the same page as Parti Bumi Kenyalang (PBK) and reject the so-called new Malaysia Agreement,” said the party’s central treasurer Jamie Tiew Yen Huong.
“Everyone needs to join hands to put pressure on the federal government to complete the return of Sarawak’s rights and interests as soon as possible,” she implored.
The new agreement was proposed on July 2 by National BN Deputy Chairman Datuk Seri Utama Mohamad Hassan.
