KUCHING: Opposition Parti Bumi Kenyalang (PBK) which lost every seat it contested in last month’s state election is now drawing up bigger plans.

It is eyeing the 15th General Election next and is counting on making an impact, this time as a Borneo Front, together with friendly Sarawak and Sabah parties.

“We are going to fight together against the regime, not only with Sarawak’s local parties but also Sabah’s local parties,” declared its president Voon Lee Shan here on Wednesday (Jan 26).

“We aim to combine forces with political parties in Sabah to form a Borneo front. There are 25 seats in Sabah and 31 seats in Sarawak to win.”

According to him, discussions have already been held with a few local parties in Sabah.

“We won’t be forming an alliance with hostile groups,” he said, adding the intention was to explore working together with friendly ones.
