KUALA LUMPUR: Perodua, via its authorised dealer, DMM Sales Sdn Bhd, has relocated its Mid Valley showroom to a new location at Menara MBMR, Jalan Syed Putra in a move to double its sales capacity here while at the same time placing greater emphasis on customer satisfaction.

“This new sales showroom, which has a built-up area of 6,900 sq ft, is more than twice the size compared to our previous location, allowing an airier and more spacious showroom floor,” said Daihatsu (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd chairman Aqil Tan Sri Ahmad Azizuddin.

Established on January 20 1995, DMM Sales Sdn Bhd is one of Daihatsu (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd’s subsidiaries. It is currently the largest Perodua dealership holder with 17 sales, 13 service and two Body & Paint outlets across Malaysia.

DMM Sales Sdn Bhd has contributed an average of 10.6 per cent to Perodua’s annual sales for the past five years. Menara MBMR is also home to MBM Resources Berhad, an automotive group with diverse investments in the automotive industry and the major motor trading shareholder for Daihatsu (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.

“With increasing market competition, we value initiatives such as this, which will not only contribute positively to our sales numbers but also further improve our valued customers’ experience with our brand,” Zahari said.

According to the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA), Perodua sold 187,731 vehicles in the first 10 months of the year – an 11 per cent increase from 168,071 vehicles sold in the previous corresponding period.
