KUCHING: The authenticity of a viral gay sex video purportedly involving a federal minister is in doubt.

Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Santubong branch chief, Ahmad Nazib Johari, who felt that something was amiss, has refuted allegations that the individual with a person who resembles the minister is not PKR Santubong youth chief Haziq Abdullah Aziz.

Despite a video of a man who confessed to the act, Ahmad insisted that the individual was not Haziq who is the senior private secretary to Deputy Primary Industries and Commodities Minister Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin.

According to a local news portal, Ahmad Nazib said Haziq, whom he just met several days ago, is not the person in the video judging by his hair style.

Ahmad also pointed out that Haziq had not been to a gym for quite some time so his body is not as huge as the guy who claimed to be him in the video.

Hence, he believes that Haziq’s Facebook had been hacked. The 34 second video uploaded to the Facebook page at 2am on Tuesday also identified the minister and said he doesn’t deserve to be a leader.

The individual in the video said, “I’m Haziq Aziz, making a sworn confession that I’m the individual with (the minister) in the video which went viral. The video was taken without my permission on May 11 during the Sandakan by-election in (his) room at Hotel Four Points.

“I urge the MACC (Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission) to investigate (him) for corruption. He is not an individual who is qualified to be a leader.”

Meanwhile, other state Pakatan Harapan leaders when contacted refused to comments on the latter.
