MIRI: The Petronas Ngiling Tikai programme is aimed at bringing stakeholders together to celebrate Sarawak’s cultural diversity.
Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd Sarawak asset general manager Zubaidi Abang Zamhari pointed out that the programme this year was special.
“Aside from us being able to celebrate this programme physically, this year we have Gawai Dayak right after Hari Raya.
“Despite it being close to one another, we still celebrate them together. This shows how close the community is and I think it is very important that we have this diversity.
“On top of that, in Petronas itself, we have this inclusiveness where we celebrate the diverse culture that we have together.”
He said this during the programme here on Thursday (June 23).
Zubaidi added that this was what made the community stronger. “For this, I would like to thank the attendees who were willing to come to our programme.”
The programme was attended by some 1,000 people.
