BAU: Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) is playing a very dirty game on Serian MP Datuk Seri Richard Riot Jaem by spreading fake news claiming he was joining their party.
Par ti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) deputy youth chief Miro Simuh said if it is true that PKR is spreading such news, then it is not acceptable.
Miro, who is also the Serembu assemblyman, hoped that the rumours that have been spread by PKR will also never be true.
“I hope it won’t happen (for Riot to join PKR). This is not only for the sake of the people in Serian, but as a Bidayuh I urge Riot to remain with his party (Sarawak United People’s Party),” he told New Sarawak Tribune when met at SK Serabak Bau yesterday.
On Saturday, PKR on its Facebook page announced that Riot has joined them.
To this, Riot came out with a statement on his Facebook saying that he is still with SUPP and the news about him joining PKR is not true.
