PMU to collaborate with two bodies

MUKAH: Politeknik Mukah (PMU) signed a certificate of collaboration (CoC) with Gading Setia Ventures and Persatuan Penjaja dan Peniaga Kecil Mukah here on Monday (Oct 18).

PMU was represented by its director Dr Zamzam Mohd Walid  while project manager Mohd Zukhruf Musa signed on behalf of Gading Setia Ventures and Persatuan Penjaja dan Peniaga Kecil Mukah was represented by its chairman Norman Sudin.

Dr Zamzam said the collaboration aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of the students and staff of PMU.

“It is hoped that through this collaboration, we can provide training to the lecturers and create places for students to undergo practical training,” he said during the signing of the CoC which was carried out virtually.

He added that the collaboration with the industry or agency would help PMU to produce employable graduates in the country.

Dr Zamzam also looked forward to the sharing of expertise of researchers and training with the other two parties involved in the CoC.

He expected the collaboration would help PMU become a leading institution for TVET.

PMU deputy director (Academic) Iskandar Reduan and Awang Annuar Awang Mansor (Academic Support) also attended the event.
