Police and assemblyman distribute sacrificial meat

KUCHING: In conjunction with Hari Raya Aidiladha, the police and Satok assemblyman, Datuk Ibrahim Baki, joined hands to distribute sacrificial meat to four police families at Kuching District Police Headquarters (IPK) today (June 1).

Ibrahim said that, as part of their efforts, every surau and mosque in the constituency received a sacrificial cow for Qurban purposes.

Not only limited to religious establishments, he added that the act of giving extended to the neighbourhoods within the constituency.

He said generous individuals stepped forward to contribute, helping the lives of those in need.

According to Ibrahim, the collective efforts resulted in an impressive total of 80 sacrificial animals throughout Satok this year.

He added the community expressed immense gratitude, knowing that this act of sacrifice reaches out to Satok community, particularly those needy groups known as asnaf.
