Police chief gives Padawan residents the thumbs-up

PADAWAN: Padawan district police chief Supt Aidil Bolhassan have only praises for Padawan residents for complying with the standard operating procedures (SOPs) during the Hari Raya festive celebrations.

He thanked them for their cooperation and appealed for their continued support to maintain a high degree of civic consciousness to help the authorities curb the spread of the dreaded coronavirus.

“Love yourselves, your families and the community around you,” he said in a statement today.

Aidil said four teams from the Padawan district police headquarters conducted a conditional movement control order (CMCO) compliance operations from the first day of Raya until today, visiting 49 houses, and he was pleased to note that the residents were in full compliance of the SOPs.

Today, the teams visited 12 houses and found all the occupants complied with the SOPs.

“Apart from that, there were no CMCO violations or attempts at inter-district travel by the residents in the area,” he said.
