PADAWAN: Police are looking for three men to assist in investigations into a viral video of them fighting over food distribution in a hardware store at Mile 18, Jalan Kuching-Serian.

District police chief Supt Aidil Bolhassan said they have received three reports pertaining to the incident in a video lasting about a minute, which happened last Saturday (July 10).

The video involved a man known as Chang Ah Chin, making accusations and using vulgar language against Transport Assistant Minister Datuk Dr Jerip Susil.

“At around 2.30pm, two men identified as Muhammad Ridzwan Syah Kenol Abdullah and Lee Bui Hiong, came to Chang’s premises to provide clarification on the distribution of food supplies by Dr Jerip who is Mambong assemblyman on June 14.

“During the briefing, an unidentified woman was present to ask for food supply and stated that she had never received any assistance from any party,” Aidil said.

Following that, a provocation and fight occurred between Chang and Lee, who used a stick and a temperature scanner in the incident.
