KUCHING: The National Sports Day (HSK) event, which took place at the Sarawak State Police Headquarters on Saturday, was marked by enthusiastic celebrations featuring a range of activities.

Sarawak Police Commissioner Datuk Mohd Azman Ahmad Sapri and his wife, Datin Nassariah Mohd Nassir, graced the occasion with their presence.

The day’s activities commenced as early as 7 am, beginning with stretching exercises, followed by a “Fun Run” covering a 2.4-kilometre route around both the outer and inner areas of the Sarawak State Police Headquarters here.

Afterward, the programme continued with light aerobic exercises, mirroring the routines of previous weeks and also a lucky draw, featuring prizes presented by Mohd Azman and his wife.

Additionally, also present at the event was the Deputy Police Commissioner, DCP Datuk Mancha Ata and his wife, Datin Jennita William.

Furthermore, he took the opportunity to present Certificates of Appreciation to the accomplished athletes of the Sarawak contingent within the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) Bodybuilding Sports Division for their achievements in both the previous Mr Malaysia Championship at the national police level and the National Police Chief’s Cup.

The festivities of the National Sports Day celebration at the Sarawak State Police Headquarters were further showcased by the bodybuilding and karate athletes representing the PDRM Sarawak Contingent before bringing the day’s proceedings to a close.

Mohd Azman, along with Mancha, extended their sincere gratitude to all the members of the Sarawak State Police Headquarters for their dedication, hard work, and collaborative efforts that contributed to the success of the National Sports Day celebration.
