KUCHING: Police have found the tailor’s cellphone whose body was found in a suitcase on a riverbank in Kampung Pangkalan, Bau recently.
Head of Sarawak Criminal Investigation Department SAC Denis Leong Soon Kuai said the phone was found in a drain at Lorong Chawan 12 here.
“Yes, we have found the victim’s phone and its cover in the drain at Lorong Chawan 12,” he said in a statement today.
Denis said police is trying to collect more evidence in connection with the case.
It is believed that the victim’s mobile phone was removed by the killer.
So far, two suspects have been arrested, a 28-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman.
