MIRI: A Toyota Fortuner 4WD vehicle which was reported stolen last Tuesday was recovered in a bush near Kampung Masjid, Kuala Baram later that evening.
The vehicle was reported stolen during a robbery incident that occurred in Pujut 5.
On April 6, around 2.30am, two men barged into a house in Pujut 5 and robbed the 70-year-old house owner.
They fled off in the house owner’s 4WD vehicle with a flat screen television and two handphones.
The car was later found by detectives from Miri Criminal Investigation Department (CID) around 6.30pm.
Miri police chief ACP Hakemal Hawari confirmed the discovery.
He added that police were on the hunt for the suspects involved in the robbery.
