Police say man died of broken skull

KUCHING: Police confirmed that a man who was murdered on Monday in Lundu died of a broken skull and bleeding from the neck.

Acting Lundu police chief Insp Kumbat Tan said Besim Bujang, 43, was severely assaulted with weapons.

He also suffered from stab wounds on his left ribs, fractured jaws and broken legs.

Tan said the victim was married.

Police have picked up 12 suspects over the murder which happened early in the morning on Monday.

Kumbat said the fight started between two groups over a girl.

Both groups were said to be armed.
