MUKAH: Politeknik Mukah (PMU) achieved for the first time 100 per cent key performance indicators (KPI) for institution based on the success of 10 KPI outlined for 2021.

The achievement was a history of sorts for PMU, since KPI was introduced a few years ago.

Polytechnic Education and Community College Department (JPPKK) deputy director-general (governance) Ts Mohamad Amin Hamat, said the success was due to the high commitment and close cooperation of PMU staff.

He added that good character and high discipline of the staff also contributed to the overall success of PMU.

“These are the attributes that are highly needed to bring success to the government initiatives, particularly in the higher education sector, because ‘self-government won’t work without self-discipline’,” he said at an appreciation dinner here recently.

At the event Amin also handed over certificates of appreciation to 10 staff for their excellent service and contribution to PMU.

PMU director Dr Zamzam Mohd Walid urged all the staff to continue with their excellent performance in order to help sustain the proud achievement.
