Politeknik Mukah organises educational visit to Mara

MUKAH: Politeknik Mukah (PMU) Commerce Department organised an educational visit to Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Mukah Campus Business Management Faculty here on Wednesday (March 24).

The visit was aimed at fostering closer ties toward a strategic cooperation in various areas such as, research and innovations, students and teaching staff exchange programme, as well as entrepreneurship development programme, which would benefit both parties.

The five-person delegation was led by Commerce Department head Kartini Che Ibrahim, Innovation Unit head Dr Habsah Mohamad Sabil, lecturers Annafasia Ambang and Mohd Fadzli Ahmad and also Corporate Communications Unit head Mohd Baharruddin Mohamad.

Upon arrival, they were welcome by Business Management head Dayang Hummida Abg Abdul Rahman, Business Management Faculty senior lecturer Dr Yusman Yavob, UiTM Pre-Higher Education coordinator Nur Nadia Qausar Juhari, and (financial) lecturer Umi Insyirah Pakasa.

Among the topics discussed during the visit was about certificate of collaboration (CoC) between both parties.

The CoC would help strengthen cooperation on publication and printing programme for both parties.

Previously both parties cooperated in a few activities such as,  lecturers and students from both parties engaged in exchange of experience and expertise in their respective areas.

Besides, the lecturers were also invited as panel for checking curriculum programme and became external assessor for students’ final year projects.
