“In addition, the event is also aimed at assisting final semester students at polytechnics and community colleges in Sarawak to get a job within six months after graduation.

“At this programme, there are agencies that will conduct open interviews to fill certain positions in their companies.

“Therefore, alumni and graduates need to take this golden opportunity as such events are not always arranged here.

“I am also very positive and confident that the students of polytechnics and community colleges are competent and excellent graduates,” JPPKK senior director (competency) Dr Mohd Rashahidi @ Rusdi Mohamood said in his speech during the closing ceremony yesterday.

Held in conjunction with the two-day Industrial Collaboration and Career Expo, the event also involved 18 agencies, companies and industries.
