Normah Recreational Club, formed under a private healthcare, worked together with a non-governmental organisation Yayasan Salam Malaysia Sarawak in organising the charity event in the village.

The activity, held at Surau Wastu An Nahri, saw the private healthcare employees and their families, medical students and volunteers distributed pre-loved items and non-perishable foods to poor and needy families around the area.

Club president Athanazir Madehi hoped to increase the awareness of the employees on the meaning of giving to the less fortunate.
