MIRI: The man who attempted to break into a power sub-station at Tudan here two days ago but instead got electrocuted was pronounced dead at Miri Hospital here on Saturday.
This was confirmed by Miri city police chief ACP Lim Meng Seah yesterday.
“The man died on Saturday (Jan 5) following serious injuries he suffered,” Lim said, adding that they are now trying to verify his identity.
On Jan 2 (Wednesday) around 6.30pm the man reportedly fell from the tower of a power sub-station in Tudan here during a break-in attempt.
The man was reportedly electrocuted and fell from a height equivalent to a three-storey building.
