Premier continues with his Raya visits

KUCHING: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg continued with his Hari Raya visits in Kuching yesterday.

In the morning, he took time to visit the Hari Raya open house hosted by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof at CIDB Convention Centre.

The Premier was greeted by the Hornbill dance troupe of Nanyang Wushu Federation of Sarawak upon his arrival at 9.50 am.

Later, he proceeded to the open house of Minister of Women, Family and Community Development Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri at Wisma SABATI.

Abang Johari was accompanied by his wife Datin Patinggi Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tuanku Bujang.

Among those present were Deputy Premier Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian; Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Law, State-Federal Relations and Project Monitoring) Datuk Sharifah Hasidah; Deputy Minister for Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development Datuk Gerald Rentap Jabu; chief political secretary to the Premier of Sarawak Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman; Satok assemblyman Datuk Ibrahim Baki; and Stakan assemblyman Datuk Hamzah Ibrahim.

After completing his visitation in Kuching, he took off to Sibu and followed by Bintulu to continue his Hari Raya visit with the local communities.

In the afternoon, he was set to celebrate Aidilfitri with the Sibu community at LAKIS Hall, Masjid An Nur Sibu.

Next, he would proceed to the residence of Nangka assemblyman Datuk Dr Annuar Rapaee at Kangkong Road, Sibu, followed by a visitation to Temenggong Datuk Wan Hamid Edruce Tuanku Mohamad’s residence at Jalan Jasmin Sibu.

Later in the evening, he would be heading to the residence of Datuk Abdul Wahab Dolah at Kampung Nangka.

Abang Johari would be ending his visitation with the Bintulu Development Authority at the community hall of Kampung Warisan Bintulu.
