KUCHING: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg took time off to attend the wedding ceremony of Sarawak Legislative Assembly (DUN) Speaker Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar’s son in Sibu yesterday.
The wedding occasion was between Mohammad Ali Asfia, 31, the eldest son of Mohamad Asfia and Puan Sri Datin Amar Fatimah Mohamad Iskandar, and Adriana Azmani, 25, the eldest daughter of Azmani Mohammad and Sariah Matussin.
Deputy Premiers Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas, Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan and Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian and their respective wives, and Minister for Food Industry, Commodity and Regional Development Datuk Seri Dr Stephen Rundi Utom were also present.
