KUCHING: The Nexgen Petra Jaya programme launched by the constituency’s service centre will prepare the young generation to be the state’s future leaders, said Petra Jaya MP Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof.

He said the programme would ensure the involvement of the next generation in leadership building activities and programmes that would prepare them for life’s challenges.

“We are aware that the challenges of life are not easy for us to achieve success whether in the field of employment or business endeavours.

“It is very challenging in the future, that is why, my friends and I at the Petra Jaya Service Centre are introducing programmes for the young generation in Petra Jaya that could boost their skills in the management of events as well as expose them to networking among the youth,” he said.

He said this during the Iftar Jamaie Nexgen Petra Jaya programme at Dewan Hikmah, here on Thursday (April 27).
