KUCHING: Hope Place Kuching recently distributed personal protective equipment (PPE), which include face masks, face shields and hand sanitisers, to Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) St Ambrose Panchor in Serian.

The non-governmental organisation (NGO) on Monday (Apr 26) said it visited the school after distributing quarantine aid to a nearby village.

“Most of the children who attend the primary school are from Kampung Panchor and they come from middle- to lower-income families. The contribution was handed over to the school’s headmistress Juliana George Jette,” it said.

Hope Place also expressed its gratitude to members of the public who have contributed PPE and other essential items.

“The public have been generous and contributed many essential items to us. We are very grateful for that,” the NGO said.

Members of the public who are interested in making a donation can do so through Persatuan Kebajikan Harapan Kuching Maybank account (5112-8900-1160) or visit its Facebook page to view the Sarawak Pay QR code.
