Primary schools given proper attention, support

KUCHING: A total of 13 primary schools in the Demak Laut constituency are always given attention and support, said Demak Laut assemblyman Dr Hazland Abang Hipni.

“Every year these schools are given allocations through the Parents and Teachers Associations (PTAs).

“Not only that, other allocations are also given to buy teaching and learning equipment such as computers, and other related tools,” he said.

He said this when met after presenting annual contributions to Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Tabuan Ulu recently.

“It is understood that this school has more than 300 students, 40 of which are students with disabilities (OKU).

“This allocation aims to help the school to hold programmes and activities for the benefit of teachers, parents and students.

“This is also able to improve the school in terms of academic achievement and infrastructure,” he said.
