Date:

SARIKEI: A personal allocation of RM1,000,000 will be distributed from Repok assemblyman Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii to primary and secondary schools in Repok for yearly school activities.

Huang presenting certificates of appreciation and excellent service to teachers.

Huang expressed his gratitude to communities in his area for their support during the 12th state election (PRN12) and for appointing him a representative for the area.

“The success in winning the PRN12 shows that the people have put their trust in me, therefore, this allocation will be distributed to schools in Repok for their activities.

“I have also stressed that education for our children will pave the way for our country to be successful in the future.

“Thank you to the people of Sarikei for putting your confidence, trust and support in me, especially to the education community for their cooperation,” said Huang during the ‘Majlis Lambaian Kasih’ SK St Anthony Sarikei here on Tuesday night (Jan 18).

He also mentioned that his political goal, in 2016, was to develop and uplift the education, as well as improve road connectivity in rural areas in Repok.

With fresh mandate, Huang hope that schools in Repok would use the allocation, which would be distributed before Chinese New Year, for the benefit of their students and improve the education quality.
