LAWAS: The well-being and security of the people during this Covid-19 pandemic are the priorities of the state and federal governments.

“All government initiatives and efforts are to ensure that the people will not be too affected during the conditional movement control order (CMCO) which is to curb the spread of Covid-19.

“The public are urged to immediately register through the MySejahtera application, government clinics or village head respectively to get the Covid-19 vaccine,” said Datuk Henry Sum Agong who is the Deputy Minister of Rural Development cum  Lawas MP at Program Malaysia Prihatin at Kampung Lumut Hall here today (Apr 7).

He added that the state government was also implementing the Sarawakku Sayang programme which provided various forms of assistance to the people during the pandemic.

“It shows how much the government is emphasising the well-being and survival of the people regardless of their background, race, culture or region,” said Henry.
