BAU: The damaged Tanjung Durian Road here will undergo repair works which are expected to be completed within a month.
Serumbu assemblyman Miro Simuh said a private company, Hollystone Quarry Sdn Bhd, would undertake the project and cover all the expenses.
“The repair works have already started,” he told New Sarawak Tribune when contacted on Monday (March 15).
On March 11, Miro went on the ground to inspect the road which had a lot of potholes.
Following his visit, an agreement was made between the company and Miro who represented the local community. The former said it would repair the road.
