LIMBANG: Sarawak needs experts in the field of chemistry and hydrogen in line with its focus on an economy inclining towards a new form of technology that is based on hydrogen and green energy.

Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg said the state had various resources that needed to be added value.

“We are thankful that Sarawak has a lot of resources but at the moment the resources are still not being added value.

“And this value added depends with the quality of Sarawak’s youth in today’s knowledge. Therefore, we need our young generation to evaluate and add values into our available resources,” he said in his speech during the celebration of the 51th state level Teacher’s Day 2022 at the Limbang Civic Centre here today.

He said Sarawak had been seen as a state that had the potential in new technology through hydrogen and green energy source.

“Allah’s loves Sarawak, because we have lots of water resources and from this water, it will be the hydrogen molecule and oxygen which only us can extract the hydrogen.
