MUKAH: Various projects worth RM2.28 million mostly under the Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) have been approved in Tellian constituency last year.

The approved projects were under the jurisdiction of the Kampung Tellian penghulu, who oversees Kampung Tellian Daya (Tellian Ulu), Kampung Seri Tellian (Tellian Tengah) and Kampung Tellian Tradisi.

According to a list shared by Penghulu Bonaventure Juana Lupuih in a WhatsApp group on Monday, four of the total 13 projects have been completed.

The projects ranged from constructing and repairing a wooden (belian) plank walk and multipurpose hall, building a bridge and constructing a car park.

The value of the projects are between RM50,000 to RM350,000.

The implementing agencies involved are Drainage and Irrigation Department (DID), Public works Department (JKR) and Dalat and Mukah District Council (MDDM).

Bonaventure hoped that the implementing agencies would expedite the implementation of the projects.

He also hoped that the people would cooperate with the implementing agencies and the contractors.
