KUCHING: Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) has crossed the line, said Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) Youth chief Datuk Snowdan Lawan (pic).

He was responding to an announcement made by PSB president Datuk Seri Wong Soon Koh that the party will contest all 82 seats in the next state election.

“PSB crossed the line when it was in the state government. As far as PRS is concerned, it is a threat,” Snowdan told New Sarawak Tribune yesterday.

“We should reciprocate immediately by not only being defensive but also attack its bases,” he said.

“PSB declared its plan to topple the existing government and in doing so, it declared itself as a political foe of GPS.”

Snowdan conceded that while there was no stopping PSB from contesting wherever it wanted, it was up to the people to elect the government of their preference.

“Wong pledged his support to Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg in the interest of Sarawakians, but on the ground PSB is aiming its guns at us.

“We cannot stand still on this and stay defensive expecting its onslaught only. We cannot be lackadaisical and play down our enemy’s capability.

“But we now know our enemy well before the battle. Now it leaves us with just one choice – retaliation. So be it,” he said.
