SIBU: Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) is scheduled to hold its extraordinary delegates conference at Joystar Garden Restaurant here on Saturday (Feb 17).

The party, in a press release today (Feb 13), said the agenda for the 3 pm meeting includes a resolution to dissolve the party.

“The opening address will be delivered by PSB president Datuk Seri Wong Soon Koh.

“PSB deputy president Johnichal Rayong and secretary-general Baru Bian will also address the conference, followed by a report from the central treasurer,” stated the press release.

On Monday, Progressive Democratic Party president Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing, told reporters that the merger between PDP and PSB would be carefully planned and executed to comply with the Anti-Hopping Law.

“We will finalise everything first. Once resolved, we will make an announcement. This process is similar to marriage. After tying the knot, we will inform others,” he said when met by reporters during a Chinese New Year (CNY) visit to Wong’s residence.
